Hanna Davies is a graduate candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the Mind, Brain, and Education Program. Passionate about understanding the neuroscience behind creativity, Hanna is currently building a customizable and dynamic curriculum to help individuals actively strengthen their creativity and innovation skills using neuroscience as a framework for understanding. Hanna has conducted award-winning preliminary research on the potential of Optogenetic stimulation to induce neuroplasticity. She has served as Director of Academic Research for Montreal-based non-profit, Convergence, Perceptions of Neuroscience, as well as a Lead Creative Educator at Toronto-based non-profit, No.9 The Culture of Sustainability. Hanna is also a practicing artist, specializing in fine pen work and, more recently, the creation of multiple land art installations. In her spare time, Hanna is almost always dancing (Zouk, West Coast Swing, Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba). Her ideal Friday night involves engaging in interesting conversations, over lots of wine and cheese, with good curious people who offer their unique background experiences and perspectives.
